I am definitely a begginer/self-taught/photo enthusiast! I shoot for fun…have had some small “shooting” jobs…nothing major! LOL :) I work with a Nikon D40SLR which I received as a Christmas gift back in 2008. I have always played around with film cameras and smaller model digital cameras and wanted to take my hobby to a different level, i.e. working with a SLR. Taking pictures is a calm experience and I must say that I love it!

It has to be FUN Aisha otherwise it would drive us crazy! I’m glad you find photography calming. I do too. Also gets me out and about.

    Thanks for your comments!

I have been using a Nikkon D3000 SLR since black Friday. It is fun, just have not taken the time to listen to all the DVD that came with it. Hope I will take the time to read your hints and help. I am in metro Atlanta.
